I’d invite Laura Ingalls Wilder, Thomas Edison, Jesus, Anna Nicole Smith, Kurt Cobain, and Marilyn Monroe because they were all unique people.

My guest list and why.

Abraham Lincoln- I would love to know if he truly believed that “All men are created equal.”

George Washington-I would like to know what he thinks of our country in 2009.

Rosa Parks-I would love to thank her for all she did for the Civil Rights Movement.

Martin Luther King Jr.-I would love to tell him what has happened to our society since he passed.

Barack Obama-To congratulate him on his win and show the other dinner guests what our country has accomplished.

Jered Diamond, wrote one of favorite books (Guns, Germs, Steel)
Clint Eastwood, He’s just cool

Al Gore, Bill Gates, Nostradamus, Mother Teresa, Desmond Tutu, and Sandra Day O’Connor.

I’d invite Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Elvis Presley, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, because they all were fascinating, talented people that died far too soon.

Interesting – Sidney Poitier(just because he was the man who came to dinner), Barrack Obama (incredible man), Constance Hopkins (decendent of), Robin Williams (wit and humor), Eleanor Roosevelt (amazing woman), Mahatma Ghandi (a man who lived his vision). Table topics would be all over the board and brain storming could fix most of the world problems.

LOL, I had a good chuckle at #20 answer. I would love to be there at that dinner. Jesus would be able to enlighten the rest of them 😉

Sheri, my darling, just wandering why so many people aren’t putting links to their blogs? Are they not bloggers? Just curious 😉

Well, my answer would be:

Jesus, Apostle Paul, Moses, King David, the woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears and hair, & Eve. I think I would have to squeeze Adam in also. There is always room for one more, right?

I think because some are coming from a sweepstakes website and they are readers, not bloggers. In any event, I invite the entries and hope for more readers!

Hope you’re doing better

The final six of this year’s American Idol contest.

I’d invite King Solomon, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter and the Dalai Lama. I figure if I feed them and keep them at the table long enough, they’ll be able to come up with workable solutions to the world’s problems.

Not all readers are bloggers – some of us simply enjoy the reading! 😀

I would invite: Abe Lincoln, George Burns, Ben Franklin, Ella Fitzegerald, Mary Travers (of Peter, Paul and Mary) and Elenor Roosevelt. Can you imagine…..these six together…..what a party

I would invite the winners of the Biggest Loser show so I could learn their insight into how they lost and kept off the weight 🙂

For my dinner party, I would invite the following three for their humor and wit, John Candy, Bill Murray and Simon Pegg and the following three for their oh so cool factor, Clint Eastwood, Johnny Depp and Jack Nicholson. I think this would be a fun dinner party. Thank you!

I would invite Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Ted Nugent, Charleton Heston, and Mother Teresa.

Mother Theresa, John Wayne, General Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller [USMC], Ira Hayes, Chief Joseph {Nez Perce}, and David Robinson [San Antonio Spurs, retired].

I believe that this unique mix would provide very stimulating and enlighteneing dinner conversation.

Jesus, Nostradamus, Amiucci (who really invented the telephone), Lincoln, Einstein, Mark Twain.

I would invite as many family and friends that I could to enjoy a new dinner.

I wanted to be clear in my comment above… I AM THRILLED to have anybody enter… reader or blogger… or both! Thanks for stopping by and giving us your entry!

I’ve actually thought about this before. I would invite Eleanor Roosavelt, Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Mamie Eisenhower, Mary Todd Lincoln, and for a little controvery….Marilyn Monroe.

I’ve also subscribed to a novel menageries feed.

Rimbaud, Leonardo DaVinci, Helen of Troy, Jack the Ripper, Genghis Khan and Mithra. Because I’m sick and tired of boring dinner parties!

JOHN GOODMAN, OPRAH, SULLY FROM GODSMACK, JERRY SEINFELD, Barack Obama, AND John Wayne THAT OUGHT TO BE A FUN EXPERIENCE.

Former Texas governor Ann Richards (wish she were alive), Al Gore, Jimmy and Roslyn Carter, the Obamas.

George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Ronald Reagan, Andy Roddick, Caesar from the Dog Whisperer ( i have some problem dogs he could look into..) and Marilyn Monroe

hmm, I would invite Marilyn Monroe, Freddy Mercury, Jimmi Hendrix, Heath Ledger, Eartha Kitt and Terry Fox.

I would invite these specific folk because they all lived, in my opinion extraordinary lives, but much too short. I think with the diversity of people there would be the most fantastic dinner conversation, lots of laughs and some great music!

Thanks
